when are pets getting fixed? sure...i love disabling cower...only to have it be enabled at some opportune time with out my knowledge, usually when i need growl to kick in the most.

and whats up with the random path bug that happens every so often?....you send him in to your target, then he just goes attacking everything in view?

Normally i don't say anything because i know bugs usually get fixed fairly fast, but this is just stupid....fix it already.

They will fix it when the developers get to it. Hopefully in the next patch. However the GM's here have nothing to do with it. You might wish to check the bug report forum to see if there is any additional info. In the grand scheme of things there are several other items that I would think take priority of these issues though. I'd like them fixed, don't get me wrong. The cower and prowl bug tend to be annoying, but there are other things even more annoying.

This bug is also driving me crazy. I can put up with having to open my book and put the abilities I don't want my pet using on manual, but this bug doesn't always switch all those abilities back to auto. It might switch on Cower, but leave Prowl and Rake on manual (and the other way around). I've already died once from this, due to the fact that my pet was Cowering and thus not holding the aggro the way it should.

I've also found that while this bug pops up the most often when dismounting, it doesn't happen every time. I haven't been able to find a pattern beyond this though.

Right now, the best "work around" for the bug involving pet abilities auto-toggling that I've found is to move whatever you want to be sure stays how you want it to the pet bar.

For me, this means on my gorilla I have growl and cower both on the pet bar along with whatever other abilities I want to actually control and leave whatever I'm NOT worried about in the book.

So far, having it set up this way, I have not had any further troubles with cower and growl auto-toggling upon login / out or mount /dismount (which were the two prime triggers of the bug for me).
I too hope this gets fixed soon BUT as I have found some way around that I'm at least content with, I don't have a problem waiting for the time being.
